Vendor search

Find every block assigned to an organization by substring.

Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded

Searches organization names in the committed IEEE snapshot. The index is fetched from this site; your query stays in your browser.

Enter at least two characters to search the registry.

What this tool does

Vendor search finds registry blocks whose organization name contains your query. Prefix matches appear first. It is an in-tool aid for finding assignments, not a directory of device makers.

How it works

The browser loads a versioned index built from the same committed snapshot used by MAC inspector and bulk annotation. A worker searches that index without sending the query to the API.

How to read the result

Each row shows the organization, registry type, country and assigned range. Several rows may share one organization because it bought several blocks. Follow a range's start address into MAC inspector to see the bit and prefix detail.

Limitations

Names are reproduced as the IEEE recorded them. A match identifies a registrant of an address block, not the maker, owner or location of a device. Locally administered addresses can share digits with a registered block by coincidence. This page is excluded from search indexing so the old MAC site's vendor directory stays distinct.
